Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Summertime in Columbus, Ohio is relentless. While I was there visiting a friend in June, trying not to melt in the summer sun, I googled the average humidity out of curiosity. Weatherspark.com said, "The chance of muggy, oppressive, or miserable conditions in Columbus on June 30 varies over the course of the day, with an average daily chance of 41%." By 10:30 am the temperature was 90+ degrees outside! - a stark contrast from my typical cloudy and temperate habitat in Seattle.

Thankfully, Columbus has several locations of an amazing ice cream chain called Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. This chain had some very unique flavors that I had never encountered before - and each one was amazing. My favorites were the Pickled Mango and the Frose.
